Key Responsibilities:・Develop and implement asset management plans for the self-storage facilities in Japan・Manage the day-to-day operations of the self-storage facilities in Japan, including leasing, tenant relations, and property maintenance・Conduct market research and analysis on trends and developments in the Japan self storage industry・Ensure compliance with law and regulations in Japan・Analyze financial statements, budgets, and other financial data to identify opportunities to improve performance and maximize returns in the Japanese market・Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and brokers in Japan・Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the self-storage facilities in Japan・Work with the acquisitions team to evaluate potential new investments in the Japanese self-storage market and provide input on deal structure and terms・Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors, including property managers, leasing agents, and contractors in Japanese language and legal frameworks・Stay current on market trends and industry developments in the Japanese self-storage market to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation
求められる経験
・5+ years of experience in asset management in Japan, with a proven track record of success in the Japanese market
・Strong analytical and financial modeling skills in Japanese yen and accounting standards
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese language and cultural contexts
・Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken
・Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
・Experience managing teams and working collaboratively with other departments in Japan
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Japanese software and tools used in the real estate industry
