Are you an experienced professional with a passion for asset management and engineering? Randstad is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an Assets and Engineering Officer to join our client in Darwin
About your new roleAs an Assets and Engineering Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's assets and infrastructure. This role offers a chance to contribute to significant engineering projects while ensuring the optimal performance of assets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans
- Perform regular inspections and assessments of infrastructure
- Manage and coordinate the activities of suppliers and contractors
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on engineering projects
- Create detailed technical reports and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Additional level 8 duties
- Assist in the development and awarding of tenders.
- Assist in the development of service delivery contracts with external parties to deliver maintenance and asset management plans.
- Contract management for contractors
What you will need
- Qualification in relevant trades such as construction, asset management or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in asset management and engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and industry tools
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Annual salary $89,845 - $100,815 + 17% super
- 6 weeks of annual leave
