My client has a great opportunity to join their team.
They are a national asbestos consultancy who have an extremely customer focused approach to their work and they require a regional Asbestos Analyst to oversee the technical elements of their site services. These are all commercial sites where all of the equipment will be set up for you.
This is a key role within the organisation, with the main remit being to carry out site based services to a wide variety of external clients. The consultancy form part of a wider multi-disciplinary group who are leading lights in the field of engineering and planning.
Through excellent quality standards and a methodical and considered approach to their work the consultancy have rapidly built up a very good reputation in the compliance industry. As such the group have seen year on year growth in both turnover and profits.
The Role:
The consultancy have won some long-term multi-million pound contracts with international blue-chip clients servicing some static sites in the heart of London.
Duties will include:
* Monitoring of asbestos remediation works, alongside the preparation of air test reports and certification of reoccupation on site.
* Carry out smoke tests, air tests including background, leak, clearance, reassurance and personal samples, visual examinations and four-stage clearances.
* Ensuring removal of Asbestos is carried out legally and safely by close inspection and air testing, on commercial and industrial sites.
Minimum requirements:
* Experience in the asbestos industry conducting asbestos air sampling, monitoring and 4 stage clearances.
* Possesses BOHS P module P403/4
* Worked for a UKAS accredited consultancy
* Able to maintain counting standards as required by UKAS and Quality Control Management Systems
* A confident communicator.
