Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- ARTS experience
- Reviewing document packages to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Generating and dispatching official letters.
- Managing the registration process, including data entry and processing.
- Drafting and preparing forms for signature.
- Organizing and maintaining document filing systems.
- Welcoming new registrants through email correspondence.
- Updating and managing the registration tracker database.
-Delivering exceptional customer service in various settings.
- Coordinating boardroom bookings and maintaining calendars.
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy in electronic filing systems, including renaming files as necessary.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5 years + experience working with the Government of Alberta (any departments)
- Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or equivalent, complemented by formal business training or a blend of education and practical experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including adept proofreading abilities
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Familiarity with specialized software applications such as PeopleSoft, Microsoft Projects, SharePoint, SAP, and Content Server/Livelink
- Proficiency in database management, particularly with Microsoft Access
- Proficiency in ARTS software.
- Understanding of government structure, hierarchy, and communication protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledgeable about FOIP regulations and guidelines on confidentiality.
-Experience in data entry and managing records
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Proficient in numerical computations
- Proficient in keyboarding
- Experience booking boardrooms and managing calendars effectively
- Experience taking meeting minutes
