The Role :
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to work at a well regarded SEN School based in King's Lynn. As an Art Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging art lessons that are adapted to the individual learning needs of students with SEN. You will encourage creativity and self-expression, allowing students to explore different mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.

Your Responsibilities:
... - Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and inclusive art lessons tailored to the needs of students with a variety of SEN.
- Foster a creative and supportive classroom environment where students can explore and develop their artistic abilities.
- Differentiate lessons and resources to meet the individual learning needs and abilities of students.
- Provide emotional and social support, using art as a tool for self-expression and building confidence.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development, integrating art with other areas of the curriculum.
- Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to parents, carers, and the wider school team.
Requirements :
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching art (QTS required).
- Experience or interest in working with students with SEN, and a compassionate, patient approach.
- Creative, adaptable, and able to use innovative methods to engage students in learning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Passionate about using art as a means of supporting students' emotional and social development.
