As part of their continuous pursuits of excellence, they are looking for a The Head of Product and Marketing will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction of product management and marketing across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
This individual will oversee product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategies, and integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the global vision while tailoring initiatives to the regional market demands.
About the role
Matrix Reporting Structure - to CTO , APAC Head
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that drives product awareness and generates demand in key APAC markets, aligning with global campaigns while adapting to local cultural and business contexts.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, industry trends, and feedback to inform both product and marketing strategies, ensuring the company meets the evolving needs of its customer base.
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for industrial cables, connectors, and systems across APAC, ensuring alignment with global goals and adapting to regional market needs.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, commercialization, and end-of-life management.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to identify opportunities for product innovation and customization for specific industries like automotive, energy, and industrial automation.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform product development decisions and ensure organizations remain at the forefront of technology in the region.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous product improvements including in different region such as LATAM , Europe
Skills and experience requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management and marketing, ideally in industrial cables, electrical components, or related B2B industries.
- Proven track record in developing and executing product and marketing strategies in APAC markets.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global organization.
- Analytical mindset with a deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the industrial sector.
- Some traveling requirements would be expected for this role
