Job Title: Advanced Practitioner - Social Worker
Location: Blyth, South East FACT Team
Salary: £30 per hour
Are you a passionate and experienced social worker looking to take the next step in your career? The South East FACT team in Blyth is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our team. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be working in a safeguarding role, managing a caseload of long-term cases. This position requires an individual who can provide expert social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within our community.
Responsibilities:
... - Manage and oversee a caseload of long-term safeguarding cases.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop, and implement care plans.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to less experienced team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in case conferences, reviews, and other relevant meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Requirements:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
- Current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
- Substantial experience in a safeguarding social work role.
- Proven ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures.
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Registered with Social work England
- A Degree in Social work or Diploma in SW, CQSW, CSS
- Right to Work in UK
- Enhanced DBS check, dated within the last 12 months
- Extensive experience in safeguarding and managing long-term cases.
- Ability to work 37 hours each week.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
