Randstad is proud to partner with a large deparment wihtin the Queensland State Government to recruit for an AO5 Advisor role. In this role, you will actively manage leasing agreements, maintain compliance with regulations, and contribute to the seamless operation of marina facilities within the Brisbane north region. This is a great opportunity to combine your operations, property and facilities expeirence into a complex and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of berthing agreements, including establishing new agreements, waitlist management, vacating berth holders and berth holder movement within the Facilities, and Accounts Receivable administration processes.
• Providing technical advice for budget preparation for planned and unplanned maintenance for services provided at the Facilities.
• Management of Accounts Payable administration processes for contracts for the Facilities including security, cleaning, fire protection and landscaping.
• Implementation of marina industry standard processes, policies, and house rules to ensure berth holder and contractor adherence to OHS standards, relevant insurance and licensing requirements, and legislative provisions.
• Ensuring the Facilities always remain compliant.
• Active management of the Facilities to optimise occupancy.
• Providing strategic advice and support on agreements and reports on the portfolio.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience in property, leasing or facilities management
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in preparing high-quality correspondence and documentation on facility management matters.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards through effective governance and risk management practices.
• A current drivers licence is essential.
