Reporting to the Senior Director, Portfolio Construction & Risk, we are currently seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Portfolio Construction & Risk team responsible to contribute to the development of analytics, processes and reporting tools in order to manage risk across TCC portfolios.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days per week at our office in downtown Montreal.
Role and Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of tools, reports and processes aimed at improving portfolio risk monitoring and portfolio construction processes
- Contribute to the analysis and quantification of the risks of different investment strategies
- Maintain close inter-departmental ties, including with Traders, Portfolio Managers, IT and Operations teams
- Additional tasks required by the position
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Master’s degree preferred
FRM, PRM, CFA, CAIA and/or actuarial professional designation, an asset
- Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience
- Strong programming skills and interest (Python, SQL, R, C++, Java, etc.), as well as data modeling
- Interest in developing data visualization tools (Streamlit, PowerBI, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills
- Rigorous, disciplined and well organized
- Excellent team player, yet autonomous and dynamic work style
- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English, essential
