The Advanced Operations Coordinator will be reporting to the Manager of Operations Coordination and will be a member of the Central Europe (CEU) Offshore Service organization. The Operations Coordination team is responsible for standardized and harmonized Backoffice processes across all CEU offshore sites. In this role you will be responsible for conducting all short-term site planning activities for a wind farm to ensure all daily planning coordination activities are accurately and timely completed, as well as providing general administrative support. In other words take care of a smooth operation on a one or two dedicated sites while taking responsibility for important aspects of the short-term planning process, dispatching Technicians for the site. Working location will be predominantly in IJmuiden, potential visits to other offshore sites. In this position you will work on a rotation schedule which is 4 days on / 4 days off, this means you are also working during weekends and public holidays.
What does your day look like?
In this position you start at 06:30hrs and finish around 18:30hrs. The day starts the briefing of the technicians going out to the turbines, informing the teams about the work scheduled for them and the weather conditions. Before sending out you have checked that technicians are ready to safety transfer to the offshore wind turbine equipped with the right instructions, tools, and materials. The day will be closed with a debriefing, collecting feedback from the team leader, verifying hours and materials consumed to be able to close out the service orders.
During the day you remain contact with the Team leader on the turbine for their progress, together with the Senior Technician you will prepare the daily plan for the next days based on the progress, unscheduled maintenance (Trouble shooting) and the preventive maintenance. Planning work preparation is an important task in conjunction with Senior Technician & Store supervisor for the availability of materials and tools, Teams availability and maintaining start & finish dates into Enterprise-Resource-Planning System (SAP). Report service schedule progress to Management and Customer.
You will be responsible for
- Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities; create daily and weekly plans for site teams as required in conjunction with Senior Technician and Operational Planner (long term planner) considering various factors, including weather. Report service schedule progress to Management and Customer.
- Monitoring weather conditions and employee safety outside.
- Daily check on progress with Team leader, get status of work progress to plan for next day.
- Work preparation of planning and assigning foreseen (scheduled maintenance) and unforeseen (unscheduled maintenance) work to the teams.
- Creating and follow-up on Turbine Down orders to assure next day delivery on site in conjunction with Stores supervisor.
- All related duties such as reviewing time records and tracking parts to enable billing, coordinating the preparation/delivery of HSE related documentation, and coordinating filing, reporting and documentation to support full service and maintenance history.
- Warehouse support in case the Stores supervisor is absent.
- Coordinate record keeping and documentation archiving to support full historical traceability of service work carried out.
- Interface between different stakeholders, such as Site management, Operational Planner, Resource Management, and Spare Parts Team. Ensure transparency of important topics between those parties.
- Maintain service and retrofits schedule tracking for management information.
- The work rotation is 4/4, 12 hours per day. Averaged over a year, that comes out to 40 hours per week.
