Job Description:
As a Social Worker within the Adult Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for conducting safeguarding investigations, assessing risk, and implementing plans to protect adults at risk of harm.
With a hybrid working model, you will spend 2 days working in the area and 3 days working from home, ensuring a balance between hands-on support and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough safeguarding investigations, assessing risk and developing appropriate protection plans.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and family members to support adults at risk.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and legislation while upholding the rights and dignity of service users.
- Provide professional advice and support to individuals, carers, and professionals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate case records in line with legal and professional standards.
- Attend and contribute to case conferences, strategy meetings, and other safeguarding forums.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Previous experience in adult safeguarding or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a hybrid model.
