Responsibilities
Monitoring and processing customer payments, including invoices, checks, and electronic payments.
Creating and maintaining customer accounts and updating customer information as needed.
Communicating with customers regarding billing issues and payment discrepancies.
Posting payments and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy.
Generating reports on accounts receivable activity and providing analysis to management.
Assisting with collections efforts on past due accounts.
Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting close activities.
Collaborating with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
Participating in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
AEC in Accounting or other relative experience
2-3 years of experience in similar role
Experience working with a Sage 300 or other ERP Systems (an Asset)
Bilingual (an Asset)
Excel
