Responsibilities
- You’ll be the key player in processing incoming payments
- You’ll take charge of posting and reconciling customer payments to the right accounts
- Follow up on overdue invoices and communicate directly with customers to resolve any payment or billing issues with a friendly and professional approach.
- Generate and send monthly statements to customers, making sure everything is clear and up to date.
- Work closely with various internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Assist with preparing reports on account status, aging, and collections, keeping the team informed and on track.
- Lend a hand with month-end and year-end processes
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a multi-currency or international organization.
- Strong grasp of accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Proven track record of accurately calculating, posting, correcting, and managing financial records and figures.
- Knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices.
- Experience preparing financial reports and performing account reconciliations.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel – you know your way around the basics and more.
- Quick to pick up new software, with experience or willingness to learn
- Bonus points for fluency in French!
