Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities for the Accounts Payable position in Sherbrooke will be as follows:
Full cycle of accounts payable.
Input and record invoices in the accounting system.
Prepare payments based on the terms agreed with suppliers (bank transfers, checks, etc.).
Ensure that payments are made on time to avoid late fees or service interruptions.
Follow up on credit card transactions.
Verify account statements.
Keep each supplier’s records up to date, ensuring balances are correct and current.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers to manage financial issues and resolve any payment-related problems.
Ensure that all transactions comply with the company’s internal policies.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following skills for the Accounts Payable Technician position:
Degree in accounting, management, or a related field.
A certification in accounting or finance can be an asset.
Experience in a similar role.
Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
Strong proficiency in office tools, particularly Excel, for financial data analysis.
Attention to detail: Ability to identify errors in invoices or transactions.
