About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or relevant certification is a plus).
- 5-7 years of experience in managing an accounts payable team or a similar financial role.
- Proven experience managing offshore operations and international teams.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and accounts payable best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and address complex issues.
- Experience with change management initiatives and process optimisation.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with AP automation solutions is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop both onshore and offshore accounts payable teams, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Manage and optimise offshore accounts payable operations, ensuring integration and performance align with business requirements.
- Drive change management initiatives, such as policy improvements and the adoption of new technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments and proactive resolution of discrepancies.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline work flows and enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, providing regular reports on accounts payable performance and metrics.
- Lead the efficient processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment runs, ensuring accurate and timely transaction recordings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure seamless accounts payable processes.
