We are hiring for an accounts executive for a leading construction company in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts for the company and its projects
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, with a focus on credit-based payments
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for new and ongoing projects
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors regarding financial matters
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
- Support the Operations Manager in various financial aspects of project management
- Assist in financial decision-making processes for business expansion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MUST HAVE construction industry background
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the construction sector
- Fluent in Chinese and Cantonese (speaking and writing)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
