Salary: $50,000 to $65,000
Our client, located in the heart of downtown Montreal in a prestigious building, is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to join their dynamic team of over 15 members. Responsibilities
Manage the full accounts payable cycle.
Enter supplier invoices, expense reports, and credit card transactions.
Handle expense accounts and credit cards for attorneys.
Reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies.
Record client accounts in the accounting system and process payments (checks, wire transfers, etc.).
Assist with month-end closing and analyze general ledger accounts.
Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 2 years of experience or a DEC in accounting with 5+ years of experience.
Familiarity with the "Maître" accounting software (a significant asset).
Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, to serve a client base split evenly between both languages.
A genuine interest in long-term career growth within the company.
