Responsibilities
For this position, the main responsibilities are as follows:
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including the management of supplier queries and the integration of new acquisitions.
- Ensure the timely production and analysis of the department's weekly and monthly reports, as well as the resolution of issues and anomalies as required.
- Accurately and timely oversee all outgoing freight payments and the reconciliation of incoming freight invoices with costs recorded in the financial system.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings in areas of responsibility, ensuring accuracy of adjustments, analysis of variances and reconciliation of accounts.
- Coach and support the team, ensuring continuous monitoring and guiding personal development.
- Participate in or lead specific projects and initiatives as required by the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA an asset
- French/English bilingualism, both spoken and written
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in team management required
- Excellent organization of time and priorities
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
