Advantages
- 3 month contract
- $20 - $22 / hour based on experience
- Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30
- Great location, close to the highway for an easy commute
Responsibilities
- Month end reporting
- Reconciling bank statements and legers
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Ensure data is complete and accurate
- Communicating with Purchasing team to gather documentation
- Assist with auditing PO's
- Work with the project team to migrate data from legacy system to new ERP
- Help trouble shoot and resolve issues during and after ERP implementation
- Prepare standard reports and ad hoc reports when required
- Provide support to AP and AR
- Work within compliance of company policies and all relevant government regulations
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 0 -2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Post secondary degree/diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience with ERP systems is an asset
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of MS Office
