We are partnering with a Payment Institution in search of a Regional Compliance Lead to ensure that the company is operating in full compliance with all local and international laws and regulations.
As the compliance subject matter expert, you will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your scope of duties will include:
- Developing and implementing a robust compliance programme, ensuring the business is operating in accordance with rules & regulations under the relevant payment regimes across Singapore, Hong Kong & Australia
- Act as the point of contact for all local and regulatory matters, overseeing licensing processes
- Managing an effective AML/CFT programme and carrying out reviews and investigations where necessary
- Identifying, anticipating and assessing actual and potential compliance risks and ensure adequate controls are in place to mitigate these risks
- Advising local and regional senior stakeholders of the business, external regulators and bodies
- Being involved in new global and regional business initiatives

skills and experience required
- Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business or Law, or relevant professional qualification in financial services or audit
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Compliance
- Familiarity with payment ecosystems and regulations
- Possess good knowledge of the key regulatory environments in which the bank operates in
- Charismatic and influential individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Stellar stakeholder management to work well with local and regional stakeholders
