We are recruiting a Reception Teacher to support an Early Years/ Primary setting in the Sheffield, S20 area. As a Reception Teacher you will play a vital role in the early development of young learners, therefore you must have a passion for teaching and working in Early Years and be able to create a nurturing and safe environment for all students.
To be successful in the Reception Teacher role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
- Hold eligibility to work in the UK
- Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience teaching Key Stage 1/ Early Years.
- Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management

As a Reception Teacher, your responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Meet the daily objectives and targets.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Apply a variety of teaching techniques to support all students' learning needs.
- Building rapport with your students, teachers and support staff.
- Working collaboratively with other colleagues in the school to coordinate lessons.
